My Morning Prayer
Today I awake to start my journey all over again. I understand that I will most likely face both inner and outer adversaries and tests which will challenge me on the path to my Happiness. I accept that these challenges are necessary for the development of my Highest Potential and that they are actually a gift from the Universe, even if I can't see it right now.
I am grateful for the friends and assistance I have along the way, and acknowledge that they too are gifts from the Universe. I cannot do this alone so I consider all of those who I come into contact with, even perceived enemies, as allies. For we are all one in Spirit and here to help each other develop dormant parts of ourselves; and sometimes the only way to grow is through overcoming adversity.
The choices I make today will be for my best interest, and I will put my faith and self-esteem to the test by choosing to do the things which will require action and courage.
I will conquer one more fear today so that when this day is over, I will be one day wiser and my heart will be one day closer to being open to Love.
There is no one else like me in the whole world, so I step forward into this day fully accepting and loving whatever may come and am grateful for the opportunity to be exactly who I am.

If You Seek My Light
If you seek My light
At first sight I may blind you
If you stand in My light
It will cast a dark shadow
And there all your fears
And insecurities will hide
For they love the darkness
Eventually, after enough seeking
You will see, it is not really My light
That you seek
But your own
And this Light has another name
Love
And when you begin to shine
That is when your shadow will disappear
But your fears will try to keep your Light dim
Don't let them
Shine, shine, shine
Shine on in the face of your fear
And soon enough
What once kept you afraid
Will disappear, and all that's left will be

We Shine Together
I am enchanted by
Your everything
Your grace, your beauty shines
You are my everlasting reminder
That there is a better choice
A better possibility
I have avoided you, tried so much
To find you everywhere
Except where you are
But the unease of not being with you remains
What if I'm not good enough?
What if you hate me, or what if you reject me?
And then I realize that in your absence
You have shown me
The falsehoods of everything that I think is wrong
With me
These are just the unresolved areas of my shadow
Poking their heads out to say hello, asking for friendship
So it is when I stand in your light
That my shadow is cast
And I am forced to make friends with my fear
And now that this darkness is my friend
I can begin to shine
And instead of just standing in your light

Love Whispers
When I hear Your whispers
Of the greatness that can be
I want so much to dive deeply
Into Trusting You
But my fears, my doubts, my old ways
Of being tell me it’s not safe
Do what’s normal, do what’s safe
Keep away from such child like thinking
But You again whisper into my ear
Be like a child and you will find
The beginnings of greatness
You whisper again and say
I have your back, let me show you
And I realize in an instant
How much unseen support has been
There for me, through all my trials & challenges
You were there

That Your promise of Greatness is real and true

Love You from afar
The pain of leaving you is hot
It burns like the fire of Hell
And feels like it will last forever
Oh your mirror is so clear
In you, I see myself
And I have for years
Now I must go on my way
Break free from the habits of our past
And embrace a new kind of strange
Reality, that of living from my center
Instead of living with you as my center
I am so happy for this time we’ve spent
Irritating the darkness within each other
And cleansing our lenses, so our light can shine
Even brighter
I will love you always in my heart
And my soul is always there
Like a bright shining star
But my presence, my friend
Will be at a distance indeed
But I’ll still love you from afar

Agents of Light
Your insecurity serves no one
Not you, your neighbor, enemy or friend
It's the fears of our doubts
That tell us we mustn't and we shouldn't
And we can't
We've believed for so long in the lie of fear
That we shutter at a single positive thought
As if it were an impossible feat
We'll my friend, we were born to
Do the impossible
We are agents of light sent into
Being, so that we can shine and illuminate the darkness
That surrounds us
We are giants pretending to be shadows
Afraid of our own light
Now we must stand tall
Embrace the struggle
And find joy in the sorrow's of the world
For this is our calling
When we ourselves feel great
That is greatness
We are here to shine
Come, my friend
Out of the darkness, out of your small standing
Rise, stand tall, and embrace who you really are
Angels are at your back, the whole Uni-verse
Will support your greatness

The Gift of Anger
Oh this hot coal of anger
How it can burn to the core
Of anyone who touches it's surface
But this fire, this rage of fear
Is a friend in hiding
The light of anger, the blessing of it's heat
Is that it melts away all the frozen shadows
Of our past
And sets them free to fly into the
Light of our awareness
Anger is a compass pointing towards
The blocks that keep Love from us
When anger becomes your friend
Love is sure to follow
Meet all your blocks with understanding
